The world has changed in the past 8–9 months due to Corona. Most people have been restricted to their homes. This has substantially affected the economy and has lead to massive acceleration in adoption of technology all around the world. Technology adoption has leeped more than 10 years as can be seen by e-commerce and online video tool growth trends. One of the biggest question raised is if WFH is here to stay or not.

With companies like Quora, Twitter, Shopify, Square moving completely to Remote first, it is very hard to argue that this trend will ever stop.

Regarding people who mention

Then there comes a question if its possible for a technology company to be succesfull when most of the team is remote. We have examples of companies who are remote first and it was worked quite well for them in a super competitive space. Lets take example of:

• Gitlab (> 1B $)

Its now a competitve advantage to offer work from home. If you are a company which is not offering WFH, then you wont get the best people to work for you. PERIOD
